RECYCLED PET:
The polyester yarn in this product comes (in part) from PET bottles that have been collected, cleaned and processed into granulate. 

ECO FINISH: 
VAUDE products with ECO FINSIH are produced to be water-repellent, without the use of fluorocarbons (PFC). PFC is a group of chemicals used to make the outer fabric of a product waterproof. Regular re-treatment is necessary for permanent water and dirt repellence.

LWG GOLD:
VAUDE only uses leather with the Gold Status of the Leather Working Group (LWG). This evaluates the environmental performance of leather manufacturers with its own audit system. Gold Status is the highest honour and is awarded to those who achieve at least. 85 % of the criteria. It demonstrates compliance with strict standards for resource consumption, chemical management and waste reduction.
The LWG is a not-for-profit organisation in which various stakeholders in the leather industry have joined forces to set audit standards for tanneries and leather processing. The organisation includes, for example leather manufacturers, suppliers and brands.

SYMPATEX:
The hydrophilic, non-porous membrane is waterproof (>45,000 mm waterproof rating), windproof and highly breathable at the same time. This functional membrane is also elastic and particularly durable thanks to the absence of pores.

VAUDE AM SOHLE shoe sole:
The dynamic tread pattern provides a larger contact area and good abrasion resistance. The bolt-on cover of the cleat system allows you to either ride with or without cleats. A nylon reinforcement ensures best power transfer to the pedal. The sole is convex for easy walking. Besides, it offers high shock absorption on midfoot and instep.

Different activities and terrains place different requirement on the sole in terms of its strength.
