SHIMANO’s GRX RX600 gravel groupset is their solution for discovering new, challenging gravel adventures, thanks to its high-quality technologies. This gravel bike is equipped with a 2-speed drive system consisting of an 11-34 cassette and a 46/30 chainring. So you can enjoy 2x11 gears – perfect for endurance-oriented tours.

Wide wheels and gravel tyres

On this bike you will find robust ROSE G THIRTY gravel wheels, equipped with sturdy Sapim spokes. With their wider inner rim width of 25 mm, they increase the contact area of the gravel tyre and thus provide more grip on rough terrain.

Road bike handlebars for long stretches

The drop bar ensures a back-friendly posture and increases comfort on the long haul. In addition, the SHIMANO GRX gravel shifting groupset comes with a shift and brake lever combination that has been adapted for gravel use. It also ensures a comfortable and a secure grip off-road thanks to the raised, horned shape of the grips and ergonomically shaped levers with an anti-slip coating.

The BACKROAD AL GRX RX600 is the perfect entry-level gravel bike. Equipped with the solid and reliable SHIMANO GRX RX600 gravel groupset as well as a double drivetrain, versatile ROSE G THIRTY wheels wrapped in Schwalbe gravel tyres and with a traditional road handlebar, this bike has everything you need as a beginner.

Thanks to gravel-specific geometry and well-designed features such as the downtube protector and countless attachment points for bottle holders, Anything Cages, or bags, the BACKROAD AL is the perfect companion for outdoor adventures. Max propulsion down the trail with a tyre clearance of up to 47 mm with 650b wheels or 45 mm with 700c wheels – all great qualities for lots of off-roading fun.
