With "plant down" through winter training: The P-M x C x K thermal jacket by PROTECTIVE is an insulating layer for your winter training outfit.

At the core of the bike jacket are ergonomically placed inserts made of FLOCUS padding. They are made partly from recycled synthetic fibres and partly from Kapok plant fibres. The hollow kapok fibres used in this outdoor jacket are characterised by ideal thermal insulation as well as naturally antibacterial properties. In addition, this jacket comes with three practical zipped pockets that offer space for your snacks, smartphone & such.

Highlights & Technologies:

FLOCUS:
With this padding, the insulation is not made from animal material. Feathers and down materials have been replaced by natural or synthetic fibres, such as flocus, a "plant down" obtained from kapok trees. The hollow fibre insulation is a warm padding in winter and cooling functional material in summer. What’s more, Kapok has water-repellent and antibacterial properties.

PFC FREE:
PFC is a group of chemicals acting as intermediates, auxiliary materials or breakdown products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. They are used in garment production to impregnate clothing due to their durable water- and grease-repellent properties. However, PFC residues are non-biodegradable and may be harmful. The product’s water- and dirt-repellent finish is free of PFC.

TECTRON:
This is a recycled polyester material, which is e.g. made from plastic bottles.

Note:
The reflective design elements attached to the clothing as decoration do not represent a personal protective equipment as mentioned in EU regulation 2016/425. Thus, they are also not covered by the provisions of the regulation.
