The EX5 shoes come with a robust, non-slip ULTREAD EX outer sole for good grip on loose ground. In addition, the integration of the SPD system in these MTB shoes ensures efficiency and ideal power transfer onto the pedal. Thanks to the practical Speed Lacing system, you can adjust the shoes precisely in no time at all with just one pull. Finally, secure it with the Velcro fastener and off you go!

ULTREAD EX:
Lightweight rubber outsole with optimal tread for exciting outdoor adventures in the saddle or on foot. Traction and stability when walking and pedalling are the focus of this outsole, so shoes with this sole are ideal for bikepacking tours. The great traction is made possible by the wide herringbone pattern surface on the forefoot, the lightweight rubber compound and the contoured toe profile. Thanks to a raised heel structure and block heights oriented towards mountaineering shoes, they also provide good cushioning and grip on loose ground.
