Lyocell is a semi-synthetic fibre. The fibre is plant-based, but synthetic substances are also used in the production process. Wood serves as the basis for Lyocell. Eucalyptus, spruce, pine, birch or even beech are usually used. The Lyocell fibres come from LENZING AG, whose product bears the protected brand name TENCEL.

PFAS refers to a group of chemicals that are used in clothing production to impregnate clothing due to their permanent water and grease repellent properties.
