The high torques of e-MTBs push bicycle chains to their limits. With the development of the EX1 8-speed groupset, Sram now offers a drivetrain specially for the requirements of e-mountain bikes. Thanks to the straight chainline, the EX1 drivetrain allows building wider and more stable chains, than with shifting systems that were not specially made for e-MTBs. The reinforced Sram EX1 chain guarantees precise gear changes, quiet running and great power transfer to the rear wheel.
