To improve contact with the teeth of the chainrings, SHIMANO has developed the XTR CN-M9100 HG+ chain especially for the 12-speed chainrings.
The bevelled shape of the slightly extended, narrow inner plates on the alternating tooth profiles significantly reduces the noise level and vibrations.
