SHIMANO RS900 Outer Cable End Pieces (10 x 240 mm)

The RS900 end piece is a short outer cable specifically for use between the frame and the rear derailleur. The outer gear cable has lower stiffness and thus reduces the friction of the inner cable at tight radii. 
 
To improve smooth operation, the cable is also pre-greased with silicone grease. The outer gear cable is recommended for Dura-Ace, Ultegra, 105, GRX and other road and gravel rear derailleurs to facilitate fine adjustment and the removal and installation of the rear wheel.

Note:
The length of the OT-RS900 should be adjusted depending on the bicycle frame size. This is required for optimum performance. The OT-RS900 should be cut from the correct side when adjusting the length. One of the two ends is flame-treated. This flame-treated end is inserted into the adjustment screw of the front/rear derailleur and should therefore remain there.
