SHIMANO DURA-ACE Polymer Brake Cable Set

The DURA-ACE brake cable set from SHIMANO ensures minimal friction thanks to polymer-coated inner cables and pre-greased outer cables. The special surface of the cables reduces the contact area in the casing, which allows the lubrication to be maintained permanently.
 
The DURA-ACE brake cable set was developed specifically for SLR-EV rim brakes with a symmetrical dual-pivot design, but is also suitable for optimising the braking performance and modulation of compatible mechanical rim or disc brakes.

Note:
BC-9000 (polymer-coated brake cables) must only be used in combination with the above-mentioned brakes. With other combinations, the clamping of the brake cable is not secure enough. As a result, the brake cable may come loose and control of the brake may be lost, which can lead to serious injury.
