Schwalbe TACKY CHAN TRAIL PRO Radial MTB Folding Tyre ULTRA SOFT

With the TACKY CHAN, Schwalbe has designed a mountain bike tyre that can be used for everything from intensive trail rides to enduro passages. Developed under competition conditions and tested in international racing, the tyre is aimed at anyone looking for controllable handling and reliable traction on technically demanding tracks. Its tread pattern is designed for precise line selection, high cornering grip and stable braking traction.

In the tread design, Schwalbe's developers rely on a lug arrangement optimised for the radial carcass. A 2-2 distribution of the tread blocks is intended to offer particularly controlled handling, while a closed transition area between the centre and shoulder lugs is intended to enable smoother steering and improved traction when braking.

Schwalbe's ULTRA SOFT compound is designed for maximum grip and high damping properties and is particularly suitable for demanding trail and enduro use on changing and wet surfaces.

The rubber compound is complemented by the TRAIL PRO construction. This versatile casing combines moderate weight with increased stability and puncture protection and is suitable for intensive trail and all-mountain use as well as demanding enduro rides. Multi-layer carcass areas, a continuous protective fabric and an apex are designed to provide additional stability and puncture protection on technical trails.
