Schwalbe MAGIC MARY TRAIL PRO Radial MTB Folding Tyre SOFT

The Schwalbe MAGIC MARY mountain bike tyre is designed for demanding downhill, enduro and trail use. Its aggressive, open tread pattern with pronounced shoulder lugs ensures reliable braking traction and stable cornering grip even on changing and demanding surfaces. This makes the tyre suitable for a variety of different trail conditions, from loose surfaces to technically demanding trails.

Schwalbe's SOFT Compound is used in this version of the versatile MTB tyre. The rubber compound is designed for a balance of grip, damping and durability and is suitable for versatile use from enduro and downhill use to more demanding all-mountain and trail riding.

The rubber compound is complemented by the TRAIL PRO construction in combination with a radial carcass. The versatile carcass is designed for trail, all-mountain and demanding enduro use and combines moderate weight with increased stability and puncture protection. With the radial carcass, the carcass threads run at a flatter angle than with conventional cross-ply tyres. This allows the tyre to deform more flexibly on uneven surfaces and adapt better to the ground, while the contact area can increase by up to 30 % at the same air pressure.

The intermediate tread pattern with aggressively arranged lugs is designed for a wide range of track conditions and in this version is matched to the properties of the radial carcass. Concise V-grooves in the individual lugs improve grip on the ground, while bevelled centre lugs support the rolling behaviour.

Tip:
With its gripping tread pattern, the Schwalbe MAGIC MARY can be used on either the front or rear wheel. If you are looking for a tyre combination with somewhat less rolling resistance, Schwalbe recommends combining the MAGIC MARY on the front wheel with a corresponding version of the ALBERT or TACKY CHAN on the rear wheel.
