RUDY PROJECT NYTRON XR Road Helmet

The next evolutionary stage in the NYTRON range: With the NYTRON XR road helmet, RUDY PROJECT has further optimised the popular predecessor model for more aero gains when every watt counts. 
 
This aero helmet was optimised in the wind tunnel to perform up to 1.6 watts better in the road cycling position than the predecessor model. As a compromise, ventilation has been minimally reduced, but with its 14 strategically placed vents, you will keep a cool head on the bike even on hot summer days with the XR version. In addition, the Italian manufacturer has equipped the cycling helmet with the RSR 11 system for a precise, millimetre-accurate height and width adjustment. Last but not least, the strap has also received an update and can now be closed quickly and easily with a magnetic FIDLOCK buckle. Speed is your middle name? Then this helmet is made for you!

RP ROTATIONAL IMPACT TEST:
In this manufacturer’s own test procedure, RUDY PROJECT tests its helmets for rotational impact, i.e. the angled impact that can occur in the event of a bicycle crash. To pass this test procedure, the helmet must achieve a value of less than 0.68 on the Brain Inquiry Criterion. This value measures the probability of a brain injury. The RP ROTATIONAL IMPACT TEST therefore recognises helmets with a lower risk of injury in the event of a rotational impact. 
 
RSR 11:
Even more minimalist than its predecessor: The minimalist adjustment system with a rubberised dial impresses with its particularly simple handling. The system provides a comfortable and secure fit thanks to a circumferential structure and several micrometric vertical and horizontal positions for size adjustment.
 
FIDLOCK: 
FIDLOCK is a self-closing magnetic closure that ensures quick and secure opening and closing of the helmet, even with a single hand or when wearing gloves. Thanks to the Fidlock system, the closure shuts automatically and prevents the skin from being pinched.
