The EXTREME X bike shoes from northwave were developed for off-road riders who need versatility. Thanks to their HYPERLIGHT-HT carbon sole with arch support, they offer you exceptional power transfer and stability. They are also equipped with the tried-and-tested SLW3 dial. Thanks to the UNDERLAP CONSTRUCTION and the high-tail technology, the shoe fits perfectly. On top of that, the EVA footbeds come to your home in two thicknesses. The unisex bike shoes are suitable for both MTB and gravel and are simply ideal for exploring a wide variety of trails, testing your own limits and turning every tour into a real off-road experience.

Highlights & Technologies: HYPERLIGHT HT:
This is a unidirectional full carbon sole with arch support and rubber/TPU studs. The sole offers more stability when pedalling thanks to the high rear end and outstanding durability. Worn studs can be easily replaced to restore the sole's grip – ready for any trail experience. Their shape also reflects the natural anatomy of the foot and, thanks to the Powershape design, offers excellent support – especially in the arch area.

SLW3 SYSTEM:
The speed lace system closure on the shoes provides perfect support and optimal fit for your feet, is functional and fast to use: Simply open and close the shoe with a flick of the wrist. A large dial allows for precise tensioning of the wires. The shoes can be fully opened at once or step by step.

ARS 3.0:
The updated and lighter Anatomic Reticular Support (ARS 3.0) consists of a structure that gently and firmly encloses the feet to maximise the efficiency of each pedal stroke and improve stability.

UNDERLAP CONSTRUCTION:
This is a design that has been developed to improve the fit with an even closure and to avoid pressure points on the foot. This is done by pushing the layers of upper material into the inside of the shoe by activating the SLW3 fastener. The upper material has laser-cut incisions that optimise ventilation and adaptation to the foot.
