Floaterhoist

There's even enough space for a bike in the smallest house – while completing his machinist apprenticeship, the passionate cyclist Andrew Mountain searched for a solution to store all his bicycles in his small living space. Thus, the passionate cyclist developed a ceiling-mounted bicycle hoist capable of storing his bicycles in a horizontal orientation, using three ropes and paint-friendly pulley systems.

With this simple but ingenious idea in mind, he and the industrial designer Kevin Kimberley founded the company Floaterhoist in Canada in 2011. Ever since the company's foundation, the product has convinced numerous bike enthusiasts all over the world, allowing them to store their beloved bicycles in a space-saving and safe way.
